One kilogram. Ten meals. Life-changing nutrition delivered directly to the families who need it most.
Fabiola Nzoyikorera is a refugee from Burundi living in Kakuma camp, Kenya. With three children to feed and no income, she developed her own original porridge recipe from scratch — a ultra-nutritious, 7-grain blend that has been shown to restore malnourished children to full health in a matter of weeks. What started as a small operation selling to neighbors has grown, with training and a loan from Maak Impact, into an 18-person business that feeds over 200 individuals every week.
When you donate one bag, you're not just buying food. You're buying meals for a child who may not have eaten well in weeks. You're supporting a refugee-owned business that employs 18 people. And you're putting your dollars directly into the hands of the Kakuma community.
Your $2 donation provides:
100% of your donation goes directly to the purchase of this product. Bags are donated to the families and individuals most in need, selected by Fabiola's team and Maak Impact's Kakuma staff.

Your donation is used to purchase goods directly from a refugee-run business inside Kakuma. Those goods are then delivered by the Maak Impact team to a vetted family or individual in need inside the camp. Every purchase supports two people at once — the entrepreneur supplying the product and the family receiving it.
Our team lives and works inside Kakuma. Every delivery is coordinated on the ground by people who know the camp, know the families, and track every purchase. When you give, the goods are bought and delivered — not held in a fund or delayed by overhead.
